Peters, Barr compete for State Rep in District 122

Two Republicans, Tara Peters and Randy K. Barr, are running for the Republican nomination for State Representative, District 122 in the August 2 primary. The winner will face Democrat Lisa McCarthy in November. Both were asked to provide some information regarding their family and education, reasons for seeking office, and what issues they feel are important for voters to know heading into the polls.

Brown and Pollock seek Missouri senate seat

Republicans Justin Dan Brown, incumbent, and Suzie Pollock are running for the seat of State Senator District 16 in the August 2 primary. Both were asked to provide information regarding their family, education, work history, and why they are seeking election, as well as information they feel voters should know when heading to the polls next week. The winner will face Democrat Tara Anura in November.

August primary election is next Tuesday

The August 2 primary election is next Tuesday and will feature races for Judge of the Circuit Court - Division 1 and Probate, along with races for Missouri senators and representatives. Sample ballots appear in this week’s edition of the Saint James Press.

Two compete for Associate Judge- Division 1 and Probate

Republicans Kenneth G. Clayton, incumbent, and Andrew Russek are in a race for Associate Judge, Division 1 and Probate in the August 2 primary and are in the only local race on the ballot. Both were asked to provide voters with details regarding their families, education, work background, and other information voters need to know when heading to the polls.
