    Turnovers were costly for the St. James boys basketball team in a 74-66 loss to the Steelville Cardinals Friday, Jan. 14 at Steelville High School. The loss put the Tigers at 7-6 overall, while Steelville improved to 10-6.

Tigers wrestlers take second at Four Rivers Conference Meet

    With nine of the 13 wrestlers placing, the St. James High School wrestling team finished second in the team standings of the Four Rivers Conference Meet, held Jan. 11 in Owensville.

Tigers lose road game against Fatima

    The Fatima Comets bulldozed the St. James Tigers in a 74-43 contest Monday, Jan. 10 at Fatima High School in Westphalia.
    The Comets moved to 8-2 overall, while St. James dropped to 6-5.

Lady Tigers drop battle of top-five teams

    The St. James Lady Tigers and the Licking Lady Wildcats put on a show for St. James fans in a brawl between state-ranked opponents.
    In the dogfight, it was Licking that ended up on top, defeating St. James 60-54 Monday, Jan. 10.

Tigers seventh at Capital City Duals

    The St. James High School wrestling team finished 2-3 in the Capital City Duals, held Saturday, Jan. 8 in Jefferson City.
