Bourbon High School has a new all-time leading scorer for boys basketball. Aaron Farris broke the school record at home Monday night against Crystal City.
The First Annual Bourbon Invitational Boys Basketball Tournament is in the books, but the girls tourney still isn’t finished. The final round for the boys wound up last Friday night, but weather canceled the final round of the girls tourney on Saturday.
The Bourbon High School varsity boys basketball team improved its record to 8-2 Friday with 74-64 victory in Newburg. The Warhawks got the win after a 34-point fourth quarter rally.
The Bourbon High School varsity boys basketball team captured the championship at the Principia Honor Flight Basketball Tournament on Saturday. The squad also had two players named to the all-tournament team, including the tourney’s most valuable player.
The Bourbon High School girls hosted Kingston on December 12 and the varsity squads played a close, competitive game with the Cougars coming out on top 51-45. Kingston also won a two-quarter junior varsity game 16-9.
