Financial aid workshops are being hosted by ECC

         East Central College’s financial aid department will hold a series of workshops to help students fill out the 2023-24 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) over the course of several evenings.

ECC to host Manufacturing Day at BIC

        East Central College is inviting local manufacturers and community members to its Business and Industry Center (BIC) to showcase the college’s career-ready programs and state-of-the-art equipment.

Area unemployment rates remained low in August

            While Missouri’s unemployment rate was unchanged from July to August, area rates were mixed while remaining low. Crawford County also reported the same unemployment rate from July to August but Phelps County had a slight increase.

TAC prioritizes high-priority, unfunded Tier 3 needs, local system bridge projects for region

            The Meramec Regional Planning Commission’s (MRPC) Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC), meeting August 11 at MRPC, prioritized the next round of high-priority unfunded Tier 3 needs in the region, including the top 10 road and bridge and the top 15 multi-modal projects to assist MoDOT in its planning efforts for future projects. Additionally, the TAC prioritized projects for the Regional Bridge Program, also known as the BRO program.
